Well...I ordered the Lokka kit, after getting an email from "RJ" at Lokka
Its now 6 days since I sent the money via Paypal....and I've heard nothing at all
No order confirmation, no invoice, nothing!
I've sent several emails to every address I can find....not one reply, I've sent replies to there email, nothing at all back.
I told them that unless I got a reply within 24 hours I would inform Paypal...No Reply!
Paypal now dealing with it: the original (only) reply from Lokka was that they had the kit in stock and UK delivery was 3-5 days
So, just in case anyone is thinking of getting a Lokka ....Don't bother! _________________ 1999 3.0 TD Duty SWB

I ordered my rear locker direct from Lokka, took five days from ordering to landing on my doorstep and that included a postcode hiccup by TNT, can't fault their service, maybe you're just being a bit paranoid, they tell me late December is a busy time of year, don't much understand it myself. |

Another e-mail address you might get through on is: iorders@lokka.com
When I bought mine last year, I did think I was getting the run around with them, but all came out in the wash OK. I did suspect that they were potentially waiting for a block postage to a single country rather than a single item, but on second thoughts can't see how that would have made any difference.
Although they say they have them on the self, it might be that they do block orders/making production runs - of course, you'll never know. |

Well...just had a reply, the first I've had from the supplier, they say the lokka is on its way and should arrive any day now.
If/when it turns up, I'll let you know! _________________ 1999 3.0 TD Duty SWB

Considering the time of year that's not a bad timescale, as I said my rear one only took five days, but my front one took six weeks from the States, mostly due to our customs dept, and when my rear one came from Oz I thought for the first time ever that I'd got away with the import duty, but TNT billed me directly a fortnight later, just something else for you to look forward to They're a doddle to fit, just don't let the little springs fly or they'll take some finding, I would say that's my only gripe, they could supply a spare set of springs and pins, they can only be pennies. |

Agreed, I'm happy now I've got a reply from Lokka.
No doubt I'll get billed by C&E, I'm expecting to get charged, its the delay they create thats the bad part!

Be aware that the thrust washers may need ground down ..
That was only problem I had .. After that easy as could be ...
Look forward to your build thread .. _________________

Cheers Ian, I've read your posts about the shims: Just hope the kit goes in okay!
I hope it goes ok, I've just had both outer driveshafts out to fit boots, sp it shouls come apart easily....
I've lifted the suspension and lowered the diff, don't suppose this will create problems? _________________ 1999 3.0 TD Duty SWB

I don't think you'll have any problems ,
Really is straight forward (although I did read fitting instructions a few time beforehand)
I did have a spare diff (thanks Dan) which really saved down time for the truck .
Only think that held me up was getting thrust washers machined down a bit ..
Bit of advice Gary gave was to aim mid way on tolerance (not to close to the tight end of the tolerance) . _________________
