Sounds like it's losing the fuel out of the head overnight

Well Eithan, what would stop that? I am getting out of depth here. I can understand the concept, but not sure how to fix this or what to do next if this is the case.

clamp the return line off after your last journey and then see what it starts like in the morning, if it starts ok and carrys on running then it loses the fuel down the return line over night so will need a one way valve fitted

Thanks , Eithan. I will try that tomorrow night. I am gratefull for any ideas. My opel monteray was a lot less complicated, but she is now resting in the field, slowly being dismantled. Laughing

Well after 8 weeks of laying under the trooper and having my head stuck under the bonnet. I did a new orps change and a new solenoid for the starter motor and a new oil change. I have been putting in the fuel tank the additive that is supposed to clean the injectors? Well, now she starts with a cold engine, after 15 seconds of cranking. When she is warm it just takes 3 seconds of cranking.????.Hardly any smoke now when starting??. I think I will just hope this continues! Rolling Eyes  Surprised

I have a strange situation with my trooper 3 litre 4jx engine. Now that the weather is very cold here like minus 8 deg c. my trooper starts up after 3or4 seconds of cranking. When the weather is warm it takes 8 seconds to fire. This is after the car has been stood all night Confused
