hello

i'd like to know your views on adding two stroke oil to your tank in deisel engines not pertol
now have looked at WVO find that in cold weather it waxes up and harder to use
so why fuel hearters come in handy

lately ive throught using mix 50/50 or 70/30 of sunflower oil and normal fuel hoter the wether more sunflower oil
i add now and then  redex

was wanting to know if adding two stroke to the mix good or bad made my own fuel heater  that is heating oil 90-120 C
will look into making a dueo heater that uses water from engine once its warm and elec powered until reaches temp

look forward  to your input

you can buy heating kits from a firm in Germany, they have a manifold that the cold fuel flows through, with 2 glowplugs in it, you plumb this block into the coolant system. When the water is hot, a solenoid switches off the glowplugs and just uses the coolant  Wink
As I remember it cost about £80 for the whole kit: I never got one though....my old Pug 405 diesel had a Bosch fuel pump, they can handle anything up to grease viscosity! Ran it on used veg oil for 2 years then it rusted away
