Hi folks,

Just pondering, has anyone managed to install gauges such as boost, oil temp etc. into their truck and achieve a fairly OEM look?

I'm looking to put some gauges into my '93 3.1 bighorn but apart form having a free standing pod on top of the dash I can't really see a way around this. In my Subaru there was a single din sized plate in the dash that was perfect for mounting gauges, shame there's nothing like that on my Bighorn!

Cheers,
Josh

Assuming the dash layout on yours is similar to my own (don't have a picture handy - so have pinched this of a slightly different model)

My car has the simpler heater controls; and I'm somewhat aware that some models have additional climate controls such as those shown in the picture...

BUT - The car has, effectively, two single-din positions.  - One below the ashtray (B) and another above the vents (A) .  There is a further (less visible mind-you) panel (C) between the dash and the centre console...

My instinct would be to relocate the radio - either to slot (B) or in aa after-masrket  pod grafted below the dash at panel (C) leaving the DIN slot (A) available for your gauges...
