Well what a guy. On my way to feed horses Sunday AM and TWANG NSR coil spring broke.
Our Suffolk is booked in for the Suffolk Show traveling up on Tues evening.
Where do I get a set of rear springs from on a Sunday with a Bank Holiday Monday looming and me having to go back to work on Monday ?????
Having read several times on here how helpful Grandad is, he was my only chance. A quick call and he told me he had a pair on an doner trooper.
I got his address and asked if I needed to bring any tools. Nope, I got everything you need he told me. We can change them here he said.
I was thinking of bringing them home and changing them on my drive!!!!
Well what a top man. He already had one off when I arrived and it took us no time at all to get the other off and the pair on my trooper. All on a Bank Holiday Sunday at the drop of a hat.
Result. Horse can make the show and her indoors is a happy bunny.
Grandad, your a diamond.
I haven't been on here much lately as my work pattern has changed but it's still the best Forum by far.
Hope you guys are all good. _________________ Never let a meal go by----Empty sacks dont stand up!!! |

Grandad is one of many top people on the forum. His generosity and knowledge is a perfect example of the nature of ITOC. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition
