Hi, wondering if anyone can help, think I have a water leak from
just above the the alternator on the "L" metal pipe. The bottom has a gasket and two screws, the top is a push fit O ring. Where would I get a suitable push fit O Ring from?
Regards Gordon. |

I used a genuine seal and it still leaked so had to silicone it. Ridiculous amount of money for a new pipe. _________________ On victory, you deserve beer, on defeat, you need it. |

Really old post mate but if I remember right it was my water pump that was screwed, water coming out plastic casing from the front of the engine, it makes its way down there so is deceiving. Got new water pump, cheap (Milners) and easy to fit. However I do know the metal L pipe seal is another likely cause, from memory though once new water pump was installed my water issues were solved. |

Mine had been leaking too, I tried using some instant gasket, waste of time, still leaked. A new one from the dealership. It's not very expensive. |
