i had a leaking injector return rail on my isuzu bighorn,it was replaced at my local garage, but the next day it took about 30 revolutions of the engine to start it,but next day it would not start,even though there is plenty of fuel in tank.it worked perfectly before mew rail,can you help

ask em if they used the proper washers. they need to be the ones with 3 little holes in.

from memory they go at the ??? cant remember but its the face that would allow the fuel through to the return pipe if you catch my drift.

isuzu fuel leak back,thanks to all that helped,it was the primer valve on top of fuel filter,plus a heater plug had shorted and blown a 60&100amp fuse,                            its
now running well.

Hello I have a isuzu bighorn 3.1 td automatic 1995 noticed a leak of fuel looking around injection pump looking dry would the seals on injectors be the problem is it safe to take intercooler off and run engine to locate leak

I would say it is the pump itself modelwise. The 3.1 and 3.0 are completely different animals. The 3.1 almost never has leaky injectors as they aren't in a common rail.

Is there a way to look at this or are the a
Gasket kit I know that should not remove it from engine with out the timing going

I got mine fully refurbed and reconditioned for £125 at a diesel specialist in Norwich (when I was living there).

In fairness any diesel specialist in the area should be able to do the same. They are one of the most common automotive fuel pumps used.

You can get the timing almost spot on just by marking the pump (as well as going by the cast marks that are already on there)
