Hi,

Im struggling with my Denver,   its a 2011 3.0 Auto.  It starts ok,  ticks over ok,  but when I accelerate,  for the first 2 or 3 miles Im getting a flat spot for a 2 - 5 seconds before feeling a push of power.

new fuel filter been fitted recently,  but it is coming up to its 48k service (next tuesday),   but just wondering if anyone had any ideas that I can keep in mind so Im not getting ripped off.

Its an Isuzu main dealer for the service,  but want to be sure.

Many thanks
D.

Could be a lot of things, first step would be getting a fault code scan. I had a similar problem on a diesel audi, it was the mass airflow sensor that was goosed, pretty sure if was caused by the oil on a new k&n panel filter, you don't have one do you?

I believe there is a gauze filter in the fuel line that causes this issue. One of the old guard should be able to confirm.

Did the problem start after the filter was changed?

Hi, is the filter change light  showing? Mine had what felt like a misfire when the light was on.
