So with the milk bottle have you got the return pipe from the back of the head going into it as well as the suction pipe ?

Because if not the lift pump will use the diesel in the bottle and send it back to the tank as the systems not like a normal injection one where the only return is from the injector leak off .

Its the same as a Cummings PT system where the rules pumped round a loop through the head all the time and the injectors just take what they need and the rest goes to tank .
