Hi There. Been using a non-isuzu fuel filter for the longest time and air keeps getting into the system. Finally bought an Isuzu filter. When I installed it, the engine will not start. Keeps turning and turning. Any chance I put in the hoses incorrectly? Here's  the procedure I did:

Remembered the where the hoses go in the old/non-isuzu filter
Removed old filter
Installed the original one. If I am facing the filter (I can read the branding), the hose from the tank will be on the right hose.
Loosened the bleed screw.
Operated the pump until fuel is coming out of bleed screw opening.
Re tightened bleed screw.
Operated the pump until tight.
Started the engine.

It started the first time then died out after around 15 seconds. Now the engine will not start. Anything I did wrong? Thanks in advance.

Removed the hoses
Removed the filter from the mount
Put a finger in one of the tubes then pumped
Found out the correct inlet tube

I put the tubes correctly. All I needed was an extra pair of hands to turn the engine and pump vigorously at the same time. No problems now. Smile
