Was going to post this under a new thread, "Roof Racks", but this one seems relevant enough.

Does anyone know of a decent roof rack for a Trooper. Mr Twister had a good example in his Langdale Quest shots, e.g. http://mrtwister.the3rddomain.co.uk/gallery/ITOCUK-Langdale-Quest-2006/Dsc00050

Very smart 8)

I've looked at the usual Halfords offerings (Thule and Paddy Hopkirk) but apart from the teeny size I can't see where the thing actually fits on. Apart from load area, I need to mount a CB aerial and probaby a yellow hazard light (plus some forward facing spots of course).

Any clues? (My Landrover pals are really loving this one; there's no way I can turn up for an event with a pathetic little Thule luggage tray on my roof.... Rolling Eyes )

Cheers.

...I don't have any intention of putting it on its roof though.
