If your springs are as knackered as mine were then you'll gain some height anyway. Mine used to be almost on the bump stops when loaded up and rode very harshly, put new springs, shackles and poly bushes on and I gained about 4 inches and a much smoother suppler ride as the shackles were knackered and one was totally seized in the bushes. Now as you've seen from the pic on your other thread, even with a 6x4 Ifor Wiliams trailer with a ton of gravel in it hitched up it doesn't go down much! _________________ Phil

Unfortunately they are the same between LWB & SWB. Same goes for coils as well. Luckily for Frontera drivers this trick does work for leaf spring models & gives about 2 inches & a stiffer ride. _________________ 1994 KZJ70 Cruiser (currently filling the garage and causing some head scratching)

If you can find a supplier in this country, Ironman do 4+1 springs which give about 1.25 inches of lift. These are what I used on my 2.8 together with a pair of Pro Comp extended shackles to give 2.75 inches. There was a supplier somewhere in the Bristol area for Ironman, but it's a long time ago and I don't have the details any more, sorry .
