Morning all
My viscous fan just collapsed. Guessing the water I hit last night did it no good. The 4 mounting bolts sheared, too. Not going to be able to look at it until tomorrow afternoon then don't have too much time to fix and have to be on the road the next morning. I'm guessing I'll have to replace the mount as well as the fan (I have a donor vehicle). Is the mount simple to remove? Any tips to save me time and struggle?
As well as brakes now not working (expected that), interior fan has stopped too! That surprised me. Are there any links?
Many thanks! |

The fan bolts to the waterpump. You should be able to remove the studs and replace without having to replace the waterpump. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

Thanks, Rhanagar.
Flying bits of fan had taken out the radiator and expansion tank, too. Oh joy. All done now. Thanks for your advice. |
