Well the mk1 was in for its check up this morning...

It Failed,   Sad

there's some tin worm activity, so will need welding, but not much, a no.plate bulb out and a couple of rubber dust seals over a ball joint and track rod end.

not much really. should be able to get it back in within the ten day limit.  

I'll let you know...

IT  PASSED

Found a little patch of welding on the rear chassis rail I had missed, so he let me use his welder at the garage, on the day, and I sorted it

he also let me do the bottom ball joint in there too, that didn't want to come out.

a small application of flame soon got it off, but now had to change the ball joint not just the rubber  Mad

back on the road again.
