|
|
I am going to fit a hood scoop on my non scoop bonnet (swapped 3.1D in place of the old 3.5 gas) . Does anyone know the measurement from the back of the bonnet (near cowl) the to back of the scoop?
Many thanks, |

Remember the hole for the intercooler is offset to one side .. also you may find that the petrol bonnet has a reinforcement bar right where the hole goes. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

Yep. It has a brace where the big hole should go. I'm debating whether to cut through the the brace or around it. |

Leave it .. any airflow it restricts will be minimal .. bonnet folding every time you open and shut it however is going to be a pain in the arris. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

Thanks so much for your help Rhanagar and taking the time to measure your scoop. I cut around the bracing and it turned out pretty good. Not as much airflow but better than nothing, and the scoop really improves the look too!
