I fitted the latest Tunit remap 'box' last year, and am very impressed with it!
I can turn it down to number 1, just a simple cross head screw on the unit with numers 1-9 to aim at, won't even rev past 3000 rpm, so keeps power (and fuel use) to the minimum.
Or, turn it round to number 9, and get what they quote as 196BHP 274 lbft Torque: it certainly motors well on high! I can spin the back wheels easily, on dry roads...and thats with 33 x 12.5" tyres fitted. Costs a lot of £££ but you have the option of removing it when you sell the motor, and get it re-worked to suit your new TD motor.
Lot of money: yes
Would I buy another: yes _________________ 1999 3.0 TD Duty SWB
