I've had a search through the forums and couldn't find specifically what I was looking for. All the electric windows work fine, that is to say they go up and down. The only problem I have is the driver side window when it rolls up it will make a big clunk/bang sound...the only thing i can liken it to is someone banging on the window with a fist or object. If it makes that sound when the window goes up, the next time when I roll the window down it will clunk straight away. So...reluctantly I will roll the window down bit by bit as if I do it too far the window clunks again.

I have no idea what the cause could be...I'm hoping someone would be able to tell me whether it needs a new motor or the arm that rolls the window up and down is busted or has had similar issues like mine. Hopefully tomorrow I will take the door card off and have a look.

Also the driver side door doesn't lock/unlock the car...you insert the key and it's stiff as hell so every time I go into the car I have to unlock it from the passenger side...any ideas if it needs a bit of lube or whether it will need a new barrel or something?
