I've inherited a 92 Trooper which has failed its MoT on the steering box leaking...  Few questions you might be able to help with:

It's an import - will this have the same steering box as UK models?
Does any one know if its possible to get the box reconditioned?
Or is it going to be easier to replace it with a second hand one?
Finally, are they relatively easy to change?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

For an attempt at a quick short term fix so that you can get a ticket on it, have you tried power steering leak liquid stuff?

Sorry for not replying... been busy at work.  Thanks, I'll try that if I can't get a replacement in the near future... it's for the MoT.  Brake pipes and exhaust as well...
