Well,
I am very new to this world of Trooper, I have noticed that there have been these "bashes"
Not seen anyone organising one this year, but it's early yet I guess,
If your looking for an excuse for a ride out, pop over to Preston for a brew, I see your not far away.
Would be good to have a chat to other owners and compare notes etc,
I have already had the opportunity to meet Trooper Dan at his workshop in Pocklington, I have never come across such a helpful guy with a knowledge that he uses to everyone's benefit.
I can understand that the larger events take a lot of effort and expense to organise so we will keep our eyes peeled |

Posted on ITOCUK facebook page.................
Jase Rabbitt Morgan
22 February
Sorry for the huge delay guys but we wanted to make sure we had exhausted every option 🙁
As we know it there is not gonna to be a big bash this year 😥
There is however going to be a social event in August ( 10th - 13th ) or longer if you wanted ......
I have spoken to Haxey quays camp site near Doncaster and they will accommodate us
There will be group games and activities as normal just no off roading
I understand if folks don't want to go but there is still the option for a group get together
Hope to see you there

Thats bad news: seems that the club is going the same way as many others, and moving to Facebook.
Had a great time with this club over the last 5+ years, and learned everything I know about my Trooper, but it seems that times change.... _________________ 1999 3.0 TD Duty SWB

For those of us that still do not see the attraction of social media sites,
This is nice to know,
Weather you wish to call it a Bash or not in my book its like minded people with an interest in these awesome trucks just getting
together and gassing about what we've been up to since we saw each other last. or just having a laff and a beer and admiring some ones new mods.
with that said 10th -13th August, I know i'll be going.
Thanks again Steve and Jase for sorting this |

well, it was the place,
and the weather was as hot as it could be,
sorry you couldn't make it.
the local pub did a roaring trade on Friday night, when more than 20 of us came in for a meal, only one word to describe the food...... AWSOME !!!
our team won the rounders game on saterday afternoon without loosing a single person from the team, unlike the loosers
the second half was just as interesting,... and dodging a couple of thunder storms t'boot, of coarse there was some blocking tacticks being used by some.
i would like to thank jase for coming up with the venue, thanks jase. for every one who made it a great weekend, good on ya,
see you all next year |
