Hi all, nice easy one for you. 1992 bighorn 3.1. My flexi is leaking and i have a new one to replace it with. However down by the transfere box there is a valve of some kind, it has a control cable going to it and a box attached to the chassis. What is it and what does it do?. Also do i need it?. The bolts look rusty as hell and it looks a pig to get off.

Thanks in advance.

I took all of the cold start flapper valve parts out a few years back, as a bonus it freed up a spot on the dash for an extra switch...
