Hi to all
Something i haven't noticed before. I 'm just
about to change my engine oil/filter on my
1999 3.0 td trooper which i've done before as i've owned it
for 14 years.I always use Castrol magnatec fully synthetic
5-30 and have 2 4L cans of oil however 1 can is marked c2
and 1 can is marked c3 could anyone tell me if they are both ok.
It's the new Magnatec oil called Stop-Start.
Many Thanks.

Hi Eithan
Thanks for your quick reply and thanks for all the
brilliant advice on this forum that i've been able to
access over the last 14 years. My trooper has survived
quite well considering i am a bricklayer
From what i've been able to find out it seems that
oil c1-c5 are suitable for cars with a DPF filter although
looking through the garage at some my old oil cans it seems that i have used
c1 c2 c3 and a5 in the past but it would be nice to find
out which was the correct one.
Many Thanks.
