Hi Guys, hoping for a little help here, as this is driving me nuts...
Ok...my Trooper 3.0 54 plate went into the garage for a MOT and discovered it needed a new fuel tank. So new tank fitted, MOT passed, picked it up to drive home approx 40 miles, next day drove to work and back another 12 miles, then started to go to work next day and engine stopped, lift pump sucked down solid......bled the lift pump to free it, engine started fine, ran for another 70/80 miles then same thing happened.
All pipes are new, clean, no crimps or breakages, plenty of fuel in tank, new filters, no leaks or any obvious faults, just like it vacuums and stops after running 70/80 miles until you bleed it, then runs perfectly again for another 70/80 miles....
Garage is stumped, and I need my trusty steed back for work....any help would be gratefully recieved...
Cheers.

have the got pipes on to the filter housing the right way round? also have you tried removing the filler cap and seeing if it still does it?
