Where can I upload my pictures to so they won't get shut off like photo bucket?
Why does the forum not host pictures, it's a pain when you find a thread but the picture links are broken. |

Unfortunately all photos disappeared when photobucket started charging to host them. The club is a free-to-all membership so has no funds to pay such things. |

Photos are still there.
Add "Photobucket Hotlink Fix" to Chrome or Firefox to see them. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

It's in the Chrome webstore, or Firefox addons store.
Easiest option is just pop photobucket hotlink fix chrome / firefox into a Google search box. Install, enable, job jobbed.
For those recommending Tinypic, be aware it's owned by Photobucket, so the same may well happen there too.
If you only post the odd picture, perhaps getting a free Dropbox account would work, as it's possible to share files from there. Otherwise, a little digging online can turn up webhosts that will give you a basic account for free (usually ad or donation supported) or for a pound or two a month. _________________ Jim...

Thanks for that. I was thinking about setting up another Dropbox account, I think it 2gb free so that would do especially if I optimised the jpgs. |

Photobucket fix that Neal posted works fine.
Been looking back at old 2008 posts on another forum and happy days. |

Hi Jenny, there's a minimum number of posts required before new members can posts photos. I think it's 10. This is designed to stop spammers, as more often than not they don't want the hassle of multiple posts before they can spam. It can appear to be an inconvenience especially when you need help early into your membership but it serves to keep the site pretty clear of rubbish. |
