Please somebody tell me what i have done is ok. I have an ISUZU camper with a 4.3  4HF1 engine and i drove it back from the garage the other day and it seemed to be quicker, when I checked the engine i noticed a vacuum pipe had come off the inlet valve for the throttle. Now i am no mechanic but i had a good look on google and it said if i disconnect the the EGR valve it might be quicker still. So like a genius or a total prat i pulled the pipe off the EGR valve  and joined it the the pipe that was off the throttle.

Please tell me this was a good idea before i go away in it
