are the batteries charged as below about 180 rpm when cranking it won't fire, also the rpcv should show a higher % when cranking as should the oil pressure |

Sorry it took so long to respond, the engine wasn't reaching 200 when cranking so I removed the starter and it is been repaired. |

is it definatly timed up correctly? as if it's jumped a tooth then the ecu turns off the crank sensor so to speak so you get about 100 rpm then thats it |

Never touch the engine or timing on the motor, how do I check the timing? |

the cam pulley is easy it's a notch at the 12 o clock position in line with an arrow on the rear timing casing, the crank is a *beep* to find it's the smallest of notches on the back edge of the pulley that has to line up with a line in the timing cover at the 12 o clock position. it is a really small notch and very easy to miss. if both of these mark line up then as you haven't had the flywheel off you can say the timing is correct |
