Oil level High

Could it be injector seals?

Started to remove turbo

Is it worth continuing. Very very little movement on impeller on intake.

so if oil level is high then thats why it ran on, so either the injectors are leaking or the head is gone or in rare cases it can be just seals gone.

you can change the oil and start it up and it might smoke quite bad but should clear after a while of driving providing it hasn't scored any bores

Head was replaced in 2009 apparently so fingers crossed not that.

Had some excellent help from Stuart so in the process of removing injectors and will send them down to old mill motors for checking as they have been highly recommended.

Under bonnet as I type

Is the reply from isuzu correct in relation to upgraded injectors done at recall

In regard to IZ17 fuel injector recall – all four injectors were replaced at that time since they were confirmed by the Isuzu dealer as being within a serial range which required their replacement to the later type injector – with this later version injector incorporating an internal manufacturing design change in order to rectify the specific internal injector oil/fuel dilution issue which had occurred with the earlier type injectors – this being subsequently agreed to by VOSA (now DVSA) under whose strict guidance, this safety recall was undertaken by our Isuzu dealer network.
