54plate 3ltr diesel rodeo when selecting either 4 wheel drive or 4L feels like my front brakes are coming on!! Is the 4wd connected to the ABS or any ideas.

yes I was driving it on tarmac but I first noticed it when coming of a muddy field so then investigated fr there
