Hello all,
Just had a few things done to the old truck. One of them was to have the injection pump removed/replaced to remedy a leaky seal. The truck went a diesel place that does Diesel Calibrations (injector pumps, etc), so they pulled the pump, cleaned and "calibrated" it and reinstalled. I need to go back to the Calibration guy, but it's a 4 hr drive to get there.
The trouble is that now I have almost NO power below 2000 rpm. Even the drive from our house is only a 15% - 20% slope, but even with the pedal tromped down, the engine never ticks above 1000rpm (actually I think Granny can walk up faster than the truck!). However once on the road and we can get it up over 2000 rpm she has power to spare.
Anyone with thoughts or ideas on this? I would like to go in armed when I see the Calibration guy.
Cheers
PS. I had posted this in the Fuels section, but realized this is a better place. I'll delete the other post... |
