Good morning everyone!
Iím hoping someone can give me a bit of advice regarding an engine and gearbox transplant.

I bought a lwb 2001 3.0 auto that had a 3.1 engine put in it that blew up a week after I bought it.
Iíve found a cheap doner car but itís a swb 1994 3.1 auto.
My 2001 has an ecu for the transmission but Iím pretty sure that the earlier models didnít (correct me if Iím wrong 😂)
Would I be able to take the gearbox and engine from the doner car and put it straight in mine?
Thanks
Haig 😃

no the gearboxes are different and the autos do have ecu's even on the older 3.1 models. and also the crossmember mount sits in a different place and i think the props are different as well
