Trooper Euro 3
I was hopping to gut the DPF but I am very reluctant to undo the bolts at the elbow as I think they will snap.

I removed mine and just knocked all the inside gubbins out with a big bar and a hammer. It was bolted under the vehicle not up near the manifold.

It’s a 2005 insignia but I believe they stopped making troopers in 2003/4.
So is it a Euro 3 or a 4 ?
What ever it is it has the extra filter just after the turbo.

There is no secret formula, not much you can do really, there is only one way to undo them so soak all the bolts with some penetrating kind of fluid (WD40) and let them soak for a day or so and go steady, a rattle/impact wrench gun will definitely help if there is enough access
