Hi Elad,

The 'isolated' two-digit number [42 in your picture] is the Grade-Code produced by testing the flow from that particular injector AFTER manufacture. That equates to B1 for the purpose of setting-up the injector with a Tech-2 to calibrate it into the ECU.

A1 = 20 > 26 B1 = 40 > 46
A2 = 27 > 33 B2 = 47 > 53
A3 = 34 > 39 B3 = 54 > 60
C1 = 61 > 67 C2 = 68 > 74

This simple table shows the Codes for the normal range of TWO-DIGIT numbers seen on top of the injectors. It's considered best to have 4 matching injectors - i.e. all the 2-digit numbers within the same code-band. Theoretically, though, one could set each cylinder to its own individual code with the Tech-2. If one injector becomes faulty, many would consider that the whole set should be replaced - but that's expensive - one could replace the faulty one alone and NOT EVEN HAVE TO RE-CODE THE ECU - provided the replacement injector's 2-digit code was within the same band [plus-or-minus 3].

I 'got away' with buying a second-hand set, matching with #37 [originals were matching with #42, like yours] and they have functioned very well for several years [without re-coding]!

Good Luck!
