On the subject of parts and manuals, I got the 4JB1T in a range rover with various model years. things are a mess....
But for parts and exploded views on the engine I found this site:
http://www.myisuzuparts.com/index.php (delete spaces obviously) a USA site but gives good views of parts poorly shown in the above mentioned manual.
Though i got no response on a quote for parts the contents are worthwhile for spotting which gizmo goes where.
I hope this helps someone.

If you hit MY 1988 (for example) then trooper II, then parts catalogue (for example) you get a small list with C223 Diesel. then submot. that looked like the one when i was searching for a exploded view of the oil cooler setup of the 4J.

hope that helps.

The link is working but the links on that page aren't anymore. Fortunatly I managed to download it, consolidate it into one file and now can give you a link to download it yourselves Wink

Said the actress to the bishop ... lol

Tried both I.E. and Firefox. The main page in green works fine. The links off that page just bring up pages saying unavailable. Either way the link I have given is all of it consolidated into one. About 7 meg in size.

I got some answers concerning this manual a couple of months prior and since have downloaded everything. It's an extraordinary manual for doing any take a shot at the 2.8TD and it is vastly improved then a proprietor's manual. Unquestionably a quality workshop manual and is a production line Isuzu one at that. There truly is no preferable one over this one. An extraordinary find!
