Just got round to fitting a second new calliper seal to cure a slow leak.

I had fitted new front pistons and seals very carefully when rebuilding my 3.0.

Only to find that m/cyl. fluid level was going down very slowly thanks to a slight leak on NSF.   Evil or Very Mad

Second set of new seals seems to have cured it  [no visible marks on first set - odd?].

Meant to add >

"Chinesium - material mined in vast quantitities in China, can be formed into any shape quite convincingly but does not last."

PS I always use silicone grease rather than "red rubber grease" as the latter dries to dust. I do not trust it.

Silicone grease is [theoretically] inert and will not touch rubber etc.

[Silicone grease came from a British Nuclear Power Station. Divers also use it but beware - it can be expensive that way ]
