Unfortunately my clutch on the trooper 3.5 v6 is on its way out after 215000 miles do they not make anything to last these days so I need a new one but they are not cheap so I wondered if the clutch disk off a 3.0 d will fit it looks the same same dia and splines ect any one got the gm part number for just the disk from both models so I can see if its the same
I did not noti ce that how very annoying I may pull it out and evaluate and see about getting it re lined hardly anyone lists one and the ones that do are eyewateringly expensive ie over 500 quid seems a lot for a clutch only thing I'm not looking forward to is the weight of the gearbox well actually I don't like doing clutches in cars anyway much its a lot easier when the engines out
After a bit of searching it looks like a clutch disk for a NISSAN PATROL Y61
2000-2013 3.0 Diesel Wagon one will fit can anyone confirm this
Thanks Tom
Well the Nissan clutch disk fits so 60 quid for that and 60 quid for a new skf release bearing I'm gonna re use the pressure plate as that's ok any thoughts on the silly clip on the release bearing I have seen people weld in the clip and lining up the fork as they slide the gearbox on any thoughts on this
Well I did it bit of a heavy lump that box supported one end on the jack and used a come along through the gear lever hole with a bar across the windows to lift the front into position everything clicked into place as it should well chuffed now I just have to sort the leaky exhaust
