My 02 3.0D citation needs a new oilrail pressure sensor.
I can see ones on e bay for 15 quid or so. I am informed that tbey wont fit.
Can anyone help please.
how hard is it for my excellent experienced mechanic  to fit.
Thank you in advance.

You cant be looking at the right ones. Last time I changed mine on my 02 3Ltr admittedly 2 or 3 years ago, there were loads on that site.
There is mixed feelings on this one as some say fit only genuine ORPS from Isuzu. If you go down that route, you also need to order the "O"ring for it as its a separate part.
There is an excellent guide on here somewhere from Gribble, with pics.
Basically its Inter cooler to Turbo pipework off, inter cooler off, HP oil pipe off, plastic cover and sound deadening material off, rocker cover off and you can see it. The injector harness will need unplugging and you will probably find the snap lugs on the multi plugs will break as they will have hardened with constant contact with oil and heat.
You will need to grind the outside jaws of a 9/16" spanner down to fit.
Get everything you need, rocker cover gasket and "O" rings for HP oil pipe.
Again there is mixed feeling on here about getting it set up on a Tech 2 as it needs to read 0 (zero) from new to allow for correct fuel calibration. Some people just go by the fact that the HP oil pipe has been off and the gallery drained down because of this, therefor the pressure is at 0 when you put everything back together?

Be prepared for a couple of attempts to start it as you will need to refill the HP pipe and gallery with oil and it needs to reach the right pressure so maybe a spare battery and jump leads.

Typo should have been march 2019.

Worth ringing round various Isuzu dealers as the prices do differ by quite a bit !!!!!!!
