Hi Guys

On the rear axle of my Trooper where the rubber breather hose fits on, it has completely corroded away, well at least where the hose pushes on.
All that's there now is a hexagon nut with the stub end of what once was the plain section of pipe the rubber hose pushed on to.

I've been looking at some weld nipples thinking I could maybe drill and tap through the nut which I think is welded to the axle and simply screw one of them into the hole, only trouble is all the ones I've seen are 1/8" bsp which are too big.

Anyone had this problem and if so, how did you get around it or if anyone has any other ideas, I don't have a metal turning lathe so can't make something which would do the job.

Thanks for any advice
