Hi everyone, now that unleaded petrol has been changed to E10, so more Ethanol content, has anyone out there been experiencing any problems? At the moment im running my 3.2V6 Trooper on Super Unleaded because thats still E5. I know more Ethanol can cause more rust in steel pipes, damage seals, wash out dirt and debris from filters that then can block injectors, injector seals can fail --- doom doom end of the world etc!!

Has anyone actually experienced any change using E10, or does anyone know if the 3.2 petrol engine runs fine on E10 unleaded?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated, thanks

Regards David

Hi 3.2Monty! It doesn't look like anyone had any response to your post. I found your post as I am also interested how does E10 petrol work with the 6vd1 engine. I have a Vauxhall Monterey 3.2V6 and feed it with E5 so far but it's getting quite expensive, almost £16 extra on a full tank. Will have to get an LPG on it, probably that is the only sensible solution.
