Hi All,
Noticed yesterday a strange noise coming from the engine.
It sounds a bit like when a brake is grinding or rumbling and is constant. No change when clutch is pushed or while driving. I tried to listen to locate it and it seems to be around the turbo area but not sure. I took the pipes off the turbo and I can’t see anything obvious. The impeller spins freely and I started the engine with the pipes off and the noise isn’t any louder.
Does anyone have any idea what it may be or how I can try and trace the sound?
