Hi, First post here. I have a 3.1TD 1995 Monterey which has just done 120,000. The timing belt light came when I started it up after nipping to the shops. I noticed that the millage was on 120,000 exactly, I had the cam belt changed when I bought the car 4 years ago when it had 75k on the clock. Is it just chance that the light came on at 120,000? Also would people recommend that I get the belt changed when it has done 55k miles? |

The light works on the milage, you could have changed it 3 days before and the light would still come on.
As for changing it, i think its every 60,000 mile or 5 years. _________________ |
