I had to reset the starting point for the torsion bars on the bobtail today as I couldn't get the car level. Has anyone fitted Calmini heavy duty bars? Wondered if they were any better than new genuines, obviously stiffer but is the ride compliant or bouncy?

I have read that they address the problem of a to bouncy ride when lifted.

As does a pair of OME shocks. Be very carefull buying Calmini torsion bars for a Diesel Trooper, as they only ever had the petrol in the states, and the spring rates are different. ( they like their suspension a lot softer than we do )
