Hi.
I need a speed sensor for my 1992 Bighorn, 3.1 TD. It is the type with a short 3 wire loom coming out from it with a plug on the end. Does anyone know the part number and where I can get a replacment?

Hi Stuart,

Does this sensor fit on top of the fuel pump? If so it's a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and they're quite a common fault.  I've just fitted one to my '93 Bighorn today, albeit s/h.  They are bloody expensive new (£130 I think) so I usually get mine from scrappies/breakers yards for about £5 - £10. Sometimes your lucky and a s/h one will last a few years but my last one only held out for only two weeks. Piece of p**s to fit and has slight adjustment at retaining screws, Hope this helps
