hi guys.. i have central locking (not remote) in my 2000 trooper,and i am wondering what would be involved in getting a proper isuzu(GM) remote control and have it programmed to my system....im sick of trying to find the keyhole at night...

Most of the self fit alarms (or alarms from installers) will have a trigger for the central locking... it might be cheaper to get an aftermarket "Cobra etc etc etc" alarm fitted than a GM version.

I paid £155 for a Gemmel alarm/immobiliser to be fitted on my Monterey - the best thing i done to it, now have remote locking and a good alarm and the insurance approve it !!
