Hi Guys,
Just had my new motor in for a pucnture repair (already!) and I asked the garage to double check the tracking as the inside edge of the offside front tyre seems to be wown compared to the rest of the tyre. Could anything else cause the wear on the inside edge of a tyre? _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

Wheel camber / \ , maybe bearings or if its not bad, just because its independent suspension.
But tracking is the way forward _________________ |

Excess toe out will, thats when the wheels if viewed from above look like this \ / this means they tend to scrub the inside edges of the tyres, excess toe in when they look like this / \ from above will scrub the outside. Marks suggestion of camber / \ when vied from in front of the tyres will also do it. A tracking check will pick up toe out/camber so its a good start. _________________ Phil

Shouldnt be bearings... its only done 49000 miles and its only a young one (52 reg) with very light previous use.
Its in for a service next week so I will ask the guys to have a peek - the tracking was bob-on today but im not sure if they checked for camber alignment. _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60
