Hi all

I've never done any off-roading or greenlaning and I'm keen to give it a go. Are there any events coming up in the rest of this year?

I live in Northampton and I was wondering if there were any known green lanes around my area where I could go along and give it a go by myself? (I have already read the Green Lane Code of Conduct - thanks for posting it as a sticky.)

First things first, never go by youself, if you get stuck you are exatly that  Shocked
Secondly, dont be tempted to go a bit daft if you go to a quarry day somewhere (only do what you feel comfortable with)
And last but not least, i think a few are going to a place in the midlands on the 24th, rabbit knows more than me on that one  Wink

If you fancy a weekend in North Yorkshire there’s always
http://www.langdalequest.co.uk/

You could stay in Whitby or Scarbough and go to the Quest on the Saturday it's only around 10 mile from either of these lovely towns.

When we go we go on the Xtreme course, it OK for us novices, also take no notice of the 2.5 hour time, it take around 4 hours going steady.

Regards
Bill
