One of those little problems that really gets you wound up.....

Doing my pre MOT checks last week, you know, washer bottle, bulbs etc.. and I discovered the rear fog lights not working. Checked bulbs.. OK, checked fuse.. OK. Primary circuit working, relay working, voltage coming from relay, but no voltage at the rear lights. Anyway, took the kick panels off the rear door to find the wiring harness, got a voltage as far back as the rear wheel arch, but none at the little plastic cover where the jack lives. Anyway I ended up just splicing a new wire in, but why would a wire break in a 1 inch diameter harness behind the wheel arch panel ?.

Maybe a panel rubbing on it - or if it has been pulled too tight at some point (while fitting towing electrics etc)

Did you check in the towing socket?  Think the feed goes there first.  When I plug in the Ifor, with the fog lights turned on, the fog lights on the back of the truck turn off. There is a jumper in the socket.  When mine gets full of mud and water, they no longer work!
