i would not bother just get your money back , what they did was no accident just sheer stupidity your lucky your wife didnot have an accident . just go and buy the proper one m8 .if that had happend to me i would have had tradeing standards involved.

I just drove 40 miles of country roads with no power steering after the bearing in the idler pulley seized solid and destroyed the belt to the PAS.
It's opened my eyes to the loads on the steering gear,that was hard work!

That bearing is about £6'50 to buy and takes 20mins to replace, dont go buying a new pulley  Wink

The bearing came out easily enough and I'll be down at my local bearing factor first thing Monday.There are no numbers on it,hope it's not a special...
