Mad, looking at the weather outside the window at the moment plus they're talking about ground frosts.

One tip for camping in this weather... AIRBEDS! They keep you off the ground and insulated from the cold  Smile

Has it got a pump or do you need one? I have one available if you need... together with a little 12V power pack.

Thats not to say I haven't camped in bad weather, I've camped in snow up to your knees, I've been trapped in the biggest electrical storm you've ever seen, halfway up a mountain in the Alps in a tent the size of a small envelope  I even ended up sleeping in the campsite bogs one trip to the peak district, the wind was so strong we couldn't get the tents to stand up and that was a peapod and a saunders backpacker II, both good mountain tents!  That was fun, running water (all night as the urinals had an automatic flush) and a seat each!

I love winter camping!  Nothing beats waking up to the view...if you are lucky enough for the sun to be shining!  Especially with a frost on the ground.  But lets face it in this country there can be frosts and cold weather along way into the year.  Last May a mate and i walked the Penine Way, camping and for the first 4 or 5 night's we woke up to frost.
i bought a therm-a-rest, really good bit of kit.  Highly recomended  Wink

I'm at a bike rally this weekend so will be camping too! I tend to drink quite a lot at rallies so, if I get cold, I don't care.  Laughing
