ive got a leak on my water pump are they easy to buy and change on a 3.1 td 1994 bighorn the engine is a 4jg2

From what I can remember they are not too bad from Milners, and fitting is fiddly rather than dificult.

thanks the thing is it looks like the water pump the water leak drips off the bottom of the crankshaft . i only seem to loose water when i switch off the engine

I got a local garage to do mine (3.2 petrol though) put new water pump and cambelt an charged me £80 i'm not gettin my spanners out when i can get it done for this kind of money. (i supplied the parts water pump was £38 an belt £35) from RRD chesterfield, Milners wanted 87 plus vat for the pump.

The price list I have is £40 + VAT for the pump, they have bumped that up a lot. Like you say though £80 for doing that is very resonable I would think.
