Hi,
Had one of thoes expensive vehicle days, just to pass on todays experiences. 2x Batteries from Auto Electrical £88, 2 year guarante, great service, fitted them in the car park. Then moved on to Kwik-fit had an afternoon waiting for centre exhaust and 2 x rear tyres. I was pursuaded to go for Goodyear Wrangler HP, looks ok for road/off road, managed to get all wheel balancing and tracking done for free. If you don't ask you won't get!
Milner Off Road was great, £10 for a filter kit, great service. I just have to track down some oil. Spoke to Ashburton Motors in the summer, when the engine mods were done, they used Shell Ultra 5/30 as they feel it has cut down a lot of problems with engines, and recommend changes every 3k.
My worst experience has been the purchase of the track rod assemble from Isuzu at £123! - not happy 2 x ball joints 12" of connecting rod!
MOT booked for Mon, I am going to use my Isuzu a for a buiness venture accoss southern England this winter.
Spot lights next! Has anybody got any ideas how to fix spot lamps without the use of a bullbar?
Andy

You could stick them on the roof, or as you are not a bullbar fan you could get a plastic A bar _________________ |

You could get the LED spots that would fit inside the grill but they would be almost invisible except when on. They come in banks of about 6 I think and give about 50 watts each. Seen them on E BAY. _________________ Sun, Sand, but no bacon butties. |

Not that I like Kwik Fit, but I saved a bundle on tyres for our Sharan. The web site often has deals which the dealers don't know about, if you print off the online quote they should honour it. They didn't have the Pirelli's in stock that were on offer, they gave me more expensive Continentals for same price, £200 for 4 fitted. They were £100 each online. There was a chap with an Alhahambra came in off the street and he got charged £650 for 4! |
