hi ya all
ive recently got mysel a 94 bighorn 3.1 td auto. the past couple of weeks or so its been a *beep* to start from cold . ive got around it by preheating the glow plugs a couple of times then turnin it over then heatin the glow plugs again and then it fires up. this mornin its started tryin to cut out when idlin in fact its that bad that on my way home it cut out goin down a steep hill on a bend not reccomended wi a loss of power steerin. sometimes it ticks over under its own steam quite happily. can any 1 help me im still learnin  Confused

Have you checked/changed the fuel filter? if thats all ok, then you could have a slight crack or pin hole in the fuel line from the tank, and it could be drawing in air.

i had the very same probs air in the system/derv flowing back to tank due to pump sucking in air ,  also check for water in filter, hope that helps Laughing  Laughing
